Cambridge Courses

PET(B1) | FCE(B2) | CAE(C1) | CPE(C2)

Adults and younger learners still studying at school can both take the following Cambridge courses, there are however dedicated PET and FCE for Schools exams which are obviously targeted at those still at school and the coursework is designed to suit.

Adults starting out with learning English and hoping to gain a professional qualification from Cambridge Assessment English are likely to start with the Preliminary English Test (PET) (B1) which shows that you have mastered the basics of English and have practical language skills for everyday use. The PET exam is the standard entry qualification for some universities and multinational companies.

Cambridge Assessment English's and indeed Purelingua's most popular course is the First Certificate of English or FCE (B2). Achieving this level with an exam pass demonstrates that it is likely that you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English. Purelingua are recognised specialists in helping students pass this exam.

Once you have obtained your certificate for B2 you may want to continue towards an even higher level, firstly Advanced (C1) and then the Proficiency (C2), these levels are of a very high standard and students will prove to be confident speakers and deal well in academic situations, we have all the resources and experience here at Purelingua to get you up to these levels.
